Look at QuickBooks 2013!!

Enhanced User Interface in QuickBooks 2013 and QuickBooks Payroll

When you use Intuit QuickBooks Payroll with QuickBooks 2013, you’ll see some changes to the user interface—including different fonts, icons, and colors. Plus, we’ve added navigation features to help you manage your payroll more efficiently.

QuickBooks Home Page

To navigate through QuickBooks, use the menus across the top or the new icon bar along the left side. The yellow WHAT’S NEW tips point out the new screen elements. You can dismiss the tips by clicking anywhere on the page. To turn them on again, select What’s New from the Help menu.

Employee Center

You’re already familiar with the Employee Center, where information about your employees is accessible through an easy-to-find tab and is centralized on an Employee Information screen. Lists in QuickBooks 2013 now have a larger font size and increased line spacing for improved readability, and green highlighting makes your current selection more obvious. You also can add multiple notes for each employee and manage those notes directly from the Employee Center.

Select the name of an employee from the list on the left, and that employee’s information appears in the screen. The upper part of the screen shows the contact information you’ve entered in QuickBooks for that employee. To edit the information or to add more, use the Edit Employee feature—just double-click the employee’s name.

Viewing Checks

When you view paychecks or liability payment checks, a task ribbon helps you access familiar actions more easily. And, you can expand to a full-screen view, hiding the menu bar and the ribbon altogether.
