The IRS will be conducting non-intrusive system maintenance from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Eastern to correct an internal problem viewing rejected tax returns. Transmitters and States will be able to send submissions and retrieve receipts, however there will be a delay retrieving acknowledgements for any return transmitted during the 7:00-9:00 pm window. This impacts the GetNewAcks, GetAck and GetAcks service requests. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused during this two-hour window.
